Cow Eye Dissection

For our second GB meeting of the fall semester, CFS members learned about eyesight with a hands-on dissection of a cow eye!

Our VP Brian guided everyone through the process and fellow members had some fun examining the different parts of the eye that enable us to see.

Pulling back the retina in the back of the cow eye reveals the choroid coat. Its shiny property allows the cow to see at night.

Head to the gallery to see more pictures from the cow eye dissection.
